High Street, Kenilworth
A modern contemporary house with an open plan family living space with childrens play room and a t.v. room. The design satisfied the Client's briefing requirements including sedum covered flat roofs which considerably reduced the bulk and height of the house compared to the original. ca design were architects and lead consultant for the project including contract administration through to completion. Despite much local opposition detailed planning approval was obtained at the first attempt for a four bedroom house. English heritage who were consulted as part of the planning process commented:
"...very high quality historic environment of which the new building would form part. The choice of style is a bold one..."
