The project consists of 361 ensuite student bedrooms at 11 floors located over and on top of the new Bristol Bus Station.
The project is constructed in light guage steel panels with insitu concrete floors which provides high strength structure that is relatively light in weight compared to traditional construction methods. The weight of the system and its speed of construction; the building was erected in 11 month; illustrates the value of the off-site construction method - see off-site construction for further info.
