Bathrow, Birmingham
Given the sites prominent position on a major gateway site along the central route into Birmingham this building needed to be of the highest quality. The site itself offered significant challenges due to a number of unique constraints, flanked by railway tunnels, the central Birmingham Canal, a cemetery and with a 9metre drop across the width of the site.
Our client had previously gained planning permission for a building for approximately 300 student beds on the site, through a rigorous re-design we where able to accommodate 450 students.
