Aberdovey
The property is located at the southern end of Snowdonia National Park in the coastal town of Aberdovey. The site slopes to the south/south west with dramatic views over the mouth of the Dovey Estrary and sea beyond.
To exploit the views the living accommodation is located at the upper floor with bedrooms and bathrooms situated at the lower. The external materials of rendered walls and slate roof were dictated by the Snowdonia National Park planning authority. To exploit the view and south west aspect the full length of the uppfloor living space is glazed floor to ceiling with large sliding glass doors opening onto an extensive timber deck.
